Not only with Sky Lodge is there a "...world of outdoor activities..." but there is also a world of indoor activities. The main lodge itself conveys a setting worthy of an Ernest Hemingway novel. Begin by exploring all of the sights of the Great Room. It is wonderfully decorated with various stuffed wildlife, numerous bear rugs, specially-carved sitting tables, fish & tackle gear and assorted deer and from moose trophies.
*note of interest* - check out the stuffed, silver wolf mounted in walking position.
Enjoy a night of activities in our lodge game room, complete with pool table, soccer table and shuffleboard. Equipped with a fireplace for winter, spend a fun-filled evening playing your favorite game without worrying about the bitter cold outside.
Not interested in a game of pool? Relax in front of a large screen TV and pick from our choice of "in-house" movies. If a challenging board game suits your taste, then try your skill at Chinese checkers or sit back and read from one of many magazines available.
Our lodge gift shop offers a variety of quaint knickknacks to purchase, but be sure to greet the gift shop bear as you enter...just don't try to feed him!
If it's summer and you would rather be outdoors, our lodge offers a choice between a dip in the outdoor pool, a game of shuffleboard, horseshoes or some exercise in our private gymnasium. It contains a full length basket-ball court, ping-pong table and exercise equipment.
